The free calculator uses your current permit and expiry date. It helps identify possible routes to examine. Its result does not mean you are entitled to a ten-year card.

Time spent in France does not answer every question
The ten-year card may depend on your current permit, residence history, family and nationality. Depending on the route, other conditions or documents must be examined. Some people come under specific agreements.
Renewing a resident card (carte de résident) you already hold and applying for this card for the first time are different procedures. Marianne helps you distinguish them.
What the package helps you prepare
The Renewal package (Forfait renouvellement) at 69 € including tax for six months helps you describe your situation, identify conditions still to check and prepare a document list. You also have your timetable and official submission information.
If information is missing, it remains to be confirmed. Unknown information does not become an automatic refusal. The package does not guarantee that a route is available to you.
Would you like a review by a person? Renewal with an expert (Renouvellement avec un expert) at 149 € including tax adds a 30-minute video appointment with an expert and a document review.

Language and civics: the right level, if applicable
For a first resident card, general language and civic requirements may apply, with exemptions or specific rules. The French level concerned is B1; it should not be confused with B2 for citizenship.
The civic exam practice for the resident card costs 20 € including tax for six months. It prepares the appropriate level, without official registration or the Questions module. Buying it remains optional.
The ten-year Algerian residence certificate (certificat de résidence algérien) follows separate rules: do not automatically treat civic exam practice as a requirement for your application. For a first multi-year card (carte de séjour pluriannuelle), the other residence-related civic practice has its own level.

Your questions
Do I automatically get a ten-year card after five years?
No. Several routes exist, with different conditions. Your situation must be assessed.
Are the same exams always required?
No. First issue, renewal, an exemption or a specific agreement may change the requirements.
Do you sell a separate Ten-year Card package?
No. Preparing to examine possible routes is part of the renewal package.
Is this a service for a very first permit application?
The package prepares renewal of a permit you already hold. It does not prepare a first permit application.

Separate fees and scope of the service
Official fees paid to the State are additional to our price, when applicable. Exam registrations, translations and other third-party fees are also separate. Their amounts depend on your procedure and situation.
Mon Assistant Séjour: a private service, not affiliated with the State. The authorities decide on your application; examination centres assess the official exams. Our support does not guarantee any outcome.
