The service

What is Mon Assistant Séjour for?

Prepare your French citizenship application or residence permit (titre de séjour) renewal. Depending on the offer, you can organise documents, revise French and the civic exam (examen civique), prepare for the interview or ask questions. You stay in control of your procedure.

Is this a service run by the State or my prefecture (préfecture)?

No. Mon Assistant Séjour is a private service, independent of the authorities. You can consult official websites free of charge and carry out your procedure without buying our service.

Is this a consultation with a lawyer?

No. Marianne helps you understand information and organise your preparation. Offers with an expert provide administrative support. The service does not cover asylum, regularisation (régularisation), appeals or challenges to an order to leave France (obligation de quitter le territoire français). For a legal assessment, contact a suitable professional.

How do I choose the right offer?

Start with the stage you want to prepare: an exam, interview, application or renewal. Packs bring together several citizenship stages. The free tests give you an initial indication; the details of each offer help you check what is included.

What can I do for free?

Four tests are available without an account: civic exam, French level, an initial citizenship indication and a renewal timetable. You see your result before choosing an offer. The tests do not include a free assessment of all your documents or an unlimited conversation.

Does a good test result guarantee success?

No. A practice result does not replace an official mark. The citizenship test identifies points to examine, rather than making a decision. The renewal calculation does not confirm entitlement to a card. The authorities and examination centres remain responsible for their decisions.

Prices and access

What are the prices?

Civic, French and interview practice each cost 20 € including tax. Citizenship application preparation (Dossier de nationalité) costs 99 €, the pack 149 € and the pack with an expert 299 €. Renewal costs 69 €, or 149 € with an expert. Residence-related civic options and the Questions Pass (Pass Questions) each cost 20 €. The prices page specifies content and access periods.

Are official fees included?

No. Tax stamps (timbres fiscaux), official exams, translations and other fees for your procedure remain your responsibility. Our price pays for the support described in the offer; it does not replace payment required by the authorities or examination centre.

How long does my access last?

Civics, French and renewal last six months. Citizenship application and citizenship interview (entretien de nationalité) preparation remain available until the decision, up to 24 months. The Questions Pass lasts seven days. In other offers, the Questions module lasts six or 24 months depending on the purchase; check the date in “My purchases”. A purchase does not become an automatically renewed subscription.

What does the Citizenship Pack (Pack Nationalité) include?

The 149 € pack combines civics, French, interview and application preparation. Civics and French last six months; application and interview preparation last until the decision, up to 24 months. The pack does not include residence permit renewal or official fees.

Can I move to a more complete offer after a purchase?

Yes, if the new offer includes your purchase and that access is still active. The amount actually paid is deducted before payment. For example, an active application purchase paid at 99 € leaves 50 € to pay for the 149 € pack. The order summary shows the calculation.

Which offers include an appointment with an expert?

The Citizenship Pack with an expert (Pack Nationalité avec un expert) at 299 € includes two 30-minute video appointments and a document list check by a person. Renewal with an expert (Renouvellement avec un expert) at 149 € includes one 30-minute video appointment and a review. Appointments are booked in available time slots; the other offers do not include them.

Using the service

Can I use the website and WhatsApp?

Yes, offers use the website and WhatsApp for the features available in your preparation. Your account area on the website manages documents and access. On WhatsApp, you choose the sessions offered. Features may differ by channel; check the offer details.

Where should I send my personal documents?

Upload application documents in your account area on the website. Avoid sending sensitive documents on WhatsApp. The privacy page explains data use, providers and your rights. For questions about your data, write to the contact listed on that page.

Do you submit my official application for me?

No. Review your application and submit it yourself by the method required by the relevant authority. Marianne does not access your official account or see the prefecture's internal file. Do not share your password with us.

Do the checks certify my documents?

No. They may flag a missing document, an unreadable page, a date or information to review. They do not certify authenticity or legal validity. The authorities may request other documents.

What happens if information is missing?

The point remains to be confirmed. Marianne indicates what to check and, where possible, which authority to ask. An unknown answer does not automatically become a refusal or an exemption. Complete your situation details before relying on a document list.

Can you guarantee citizenship, a permit or a deadline?

No. The authorities assess your application and decide. Digital support or help from a person does not guarantee a favourable answer, acceptance without further documents or a deadline. Explanations and templates help you prepare your next action.

Exams and citizenship

Which civic practice should I choose?

Choose the one for your procedure: naturalisation by decree (naturalisation par décret), first multi-year card (carte de séjour pluriannuelle) or first resident card (carte de résident). Declaration through marriage (déclaration de nationalité par mariage) does not require this exam. Renewing the same permit does not automatically require another exam; specific rules may also apply to you.

Does practice provide an official certificate?

No. You practise with published official questions and revision exercises. Mock exams are practice. You must register with an approved centre to take the official exam and obtain its pass certificate (attestation de réussite).

Does the French offer give me a B2 diploma?

No. It trains reading, listening, writing and speaking. Feedback and estimated levels help you progress; they are not official. Register separately with a centre for the test or diploma accepted for your procedure.

Do voice exercises assess pronunciation?

Advice concerns the transcript of your answer: words, ideas and sentence construction. It is not a measurement of your accent or pronunciation. Review the transcript before using the feedback.

Will interview questions be the ones used by the prefecture?

These are simulations to practise explaining your background and answers. They are not the confidential questions for your future appointment. Use real examples; model answers should not make you invent a situation.

Renewal

Are renewal and a first ten-year card the same application?

No. Renewing your current permit and applying for another card for the first time may follow different rules. Your permit, nationality and situation matter. The package helps identify conditions and documents to check; it does not give you entitlement to a card.

My permit expires soon: what should I do?

Check your prefecture's procedure and submission period immediately. Keep evidence of your actions and documents received. Buying the package or having proof of sending does not extend your permit. If your rights are at risk, seek suitable support without delay.

Questions

How many questions can I ask each day?

You can ask up to 90 questions per day. This module uses artificial intelligence to explain information and points to check. It does not include a response from a person to every message or a consultation with a lawyer.

Do I need to buy the Pass if I already have another offer?

Check your access in “My purchases”. Main citizenship and renewal offers already include Questions on their subject for the stated period. The two residence-related civic options do not include this module. The Pass provides Questions access for seven days.

Payment and support

Can I pay in three instalments?

This option may be offered for an offer starting at 149 €. It depends on availability at checkout and the provider's conditions. After a deduction for a previous purchase, check the options available for the remaining amount. Dates and possible fees are shown before confirmation.

Can I request a refund?

Yes. Our “satisfied or refunded” guarantee provides a full refund within 14 days of your order, even if you have used the service or your seven-day Pass has ended. You do not need to justify your request. Use “Cancel the contract here” or email contact@monassistantsejour.fr with your order reference. See the terms and conditions for how the period is calculated and the refund arrangements. After that period, your rights still apply if the service is not provided or does not work as described.

How can I get help with my access or order?

Email contact@monassistantsejour.fr with your order details or the problem encountered. For a question about your procedure, use the Questions module when included in your access. For an appointment with a person, choose an offer that includes one. The service does not promise immediate replies at all hours.
